User Submitted Graphics
Alright, so if you have an idea for a FratBoard graphic it used to be that you would tell your friends, or get it on the bottom of your own board. But now, there is a way to actually submit your designs to our online store, and make $5 for every board sold. If you dont get it, check out http://fratboards.com/submit. We have been getting tons of designs, many of which have already recieved the required 15 likes on facebook, and are in our store. Now, here are a few details, so you can learn from a few of the problems we have already run into.
Boundaries
For one, dont make super large design. The design should only be in the center area of the board. We may be able to do graphics over the whole board eventually, but for now, its just not possible.
Crests
Also, it has come to our attention that crests and fraternity symbols are trademarked. Who woulda thunk. We are in the process of becoming licensed, but just know that if it has a greek crest, logo, or name, it is going to end up costing a lot more. So for now, we can't pay you for these. We are happy to put em up in the store for your frat bros to enjoy nationally, but we cant fiscally compensate you per board. Sorry!
Save a Large Copy PLEASE
ALSO, this one is IMPORTANT. Dont forget that the final product is going to have to be about 8 inches wide. Making a thumbnail version for facebook is great, but to get in the store, you will need to send us a larger version. Keep that in mind while you are making your design.
Getting Paid
We will pay you at the end of each month using PayPal. We take the number of boards sold, multiply it by 5, and send you that amount. Simple as that. We get your PayPal info when you send us the final artwork (after you get those 15 likes).
Rules
You cannot use the FratBoards store to promote another product, service, or website. If you are interested in working on some sort of cross promotional campaign, email contact@fratboards.com.
Questions?
We are seriously so happy to help. Please either shoot an email to contact@fratboards.com or hit us up using that nifty chat thing on pretty much every page other than our blog...shit. I will get to work and see if I can get it to work on our blog, too.
UPDATE: Got it to work!
